The Woods at Parkside is an accredited addiction treatment facility and behavioral health center in Gahanna, Ohio. With 50 residential beds, we offer a range of recovery-focused services, including detox, residential rehabilitation, partial hospitalization programming, and intensive outpatient programming. Because the recovery experience is so unique and varied, we are staffed with a variety of recovery professionals, including licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, mental health specialists, and recreational therapists.
Dr. Aring graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed residency at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dr. Aring is board certified in Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine. She’s been in practice for more than 25 years. Dr. Aring has received numerous teaching awards including The Ohio State University Courage to Teach Award and the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Educator of the Year. Dr. Aring’s mission is to provide high quality medical care to the patients and community she serves.
Dr. John Passias II is a family medicine doctor in Pickerington, Ohio and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including The Woods at Parkside and OhioHealth Grant Medical Center & Doctors Hospital. He received his medical degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for more than 30 years.
