Q: Who can refer someone to the Woods at Parkside?

A: We invite referrals by medical caregivers, case managers, employee assistance programs, family members, community agencies, hospitals, clergy, friends and patients themselves. If you would like further information, call our admissions department at (800) 282-5512 or (614) 471 2552.

Q: Will my insurance company pay for services?

A: The Woods at Parkside works closely with patients, their families, agency representatives, insurance companies, employee assistance programs, and managed care providers to determine all payment options. The Woods at Parkside will accept direct payment on fees for individuals who do not want to use insurance or have no insurance coverage available. Q: What should I bring with me to The Woods at Parkside?

A: Important items to bring:

* Insurance forms and personal identification

* Casual clothing (wash and wear) for three days

* Comfortable shoes.

Q: Addiction - Should I be concerned?

A: Only you can decide if rehabilitation treatment is for you.

Consider the following questions as truthfully as you can for yourself or someone you care about.

  1) Have I tried to stop drinking alcohol or using my drug of choice for a week or more but could not?

  2) Do I wish people would stop talking about my drinking alcohol or drug use?

  3) Have I changed drinks to try not to get drunk or to get high?

  4) Do I ever need a drink or use my drug of choice to get going in the morning?

  5) Do I admire people who drink alcohol or use addictive drugs without getting into trouble?

  6) Does my drinking or use of drugs cause problems at home?

  7) Does my drinking or use of drugs cause problems with others?

  8) Do I buy drinks or drugs without considering the financial consequence?

  9) Have I tried to stop drinking or drugging and still get drunk or high?

10) Have I missed work, cut school, or dodged responsibility because of drinking or drugs?

11) Have I been under the influence of alcohol or drugs when driving?

12) Do I have blackouts at times I cannot remember?

13) Would my life be better off if I quit drinking or got off of drugs?

If the answer is "YES" to any of these questions, you may have a alcohol or drug problem.
