The Woods at Parkside offers a multitude of treatment options in order to best suit the individual needs of each client. In order to ensure clients are placed into the correct level of care, our admissions and clinical staff provide assessment and guidance. To maintain an atmosphere of recovery, our continuum of care seamlessly transitions a patient from observation through their first year of recovery.
Below is a general outline of the treatment programs offered at the Woods at Parkside. If you have any additional questions about treatment programming, please contact our Clinical Director, whose contact information can be found on the Staff page under the “About Us” tab.
Dual diagnosis and behavioral health disorders are life-crippling diseases. The process for recovery from these disorders has to be both educational and therapeutic in order to take root. By aiding in the modification of a client’s thinking, attitude and behavior we are able to not only treat co-occurring disorder, but to identify and contend with other contributing factors. Within our structured, healing environment we are able to ease clients into the significant life-style changes required for recovery.
Though we subscribe to the 12-step philosophy, we believe that this alone is not enough to jump start the rehabilitation of our clients. Therefore, we provide not only 12-step meetings (for those with dual diagnosis), literature and education, but also psycho-therapeutic counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), one-on-one therapy, group therapy and family programming. We cannot stress enough, the importance of family involvement in a client’s treatment plan.
